Simply Riveting!

Simply samples of wire & tube rivets

Want to make really cool jewelry from found items that can't stand the heat?
Then join me on March 21 & 22 at the Worcester Center for Crafts!

Learn how to use rivets to combine metal, paper, leather and more using copper and brass wire and tube. Through a series of demos and hands-on projects you'll learn how to complete a variety of rivets. No soldering required!

Day-1 students will learn about wire rivets.
We'll use the torch to learn how to anneal wire and how to draw a ball on the end of copper wire to create a decorative rivet. Students will have the option of designing their own piece or using templates and sample suggestions provided.

Day-2 students will learn about tube rivets.
We'll use the torch to learn how to anneal copper and/or brass tube. Students will have the option of designing their own piece or using templates and sample suggestions provided.

This is a really fun workshop!
Basic skills are helpful, but not required!
